More information

Thic collection enables staff to be uniquely identified and their whole contribution to NHS staffing to be determined.

It provides the information used to monitor government targets and the Primary Care Network (PCN) workforce collection contributes to the monitoring of the commitment to increase the number of health care professionals offering direct patient care by 26,000.

Data is collected from PCNs each quarter and from General Practices on a monthly basis.
