The transformation of children and young people's (CYP) mental health crisis services has been identified as a government priority, and expanding CYP crisis services is a specific commitment in the NHS Long Term Plan.

The data collected will enable NHS England to track, benchmark and demonstrate the provision of CYP services and help inform national expansion plans.
