More information
Over the last 12 months, the number of adverse reactions being sent to the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) via Point of Care systems has reduced significantly.
Although patients are still required to wait 15 minutes after being vaccinated before leaving, in reality, this is no longer happening. This likely explains the reduced numbers of records.
Due to the reduced numbers, and that the fact that the Yellow Card system is now widely established, there is no longer a need to send this information to MHRA via NHS England.
