More information

The information was used to monitor number of patient objections and enable NHS Digital to ensure that the wishes of patients who had recorded a type 2 objection (NHS digital were instructed not to share a patients confidential information beyond their individual care), or the withdrawal of a type 2 objection, were respected.

This extraction was no longer required as it had been superseded by DCB3058 Compliance with National Data Opt-outs; the last extraction of data took place in October 2018.
